Founding & Future

Several years ago, while working in the Emergency Department, Dr. Sean Scorvo took care of a young girl who had suffered an eye injury from a chemical drain cleaner. The injury occurred while she was watching her father unclog a backed up bath tub. Familiar with the unpleasant problem of removing unwanted hair from his own bathroom drains, and now shocked by the dangers the issue posed, Sean set out to solve the problem.

He approached David Strayer ,a friend and professional engineer, to discuss possible solutions. They settled on the goal of developing a drain insert that was safer, more convenient, environmentally friendly, and cost effective than anything else on the market.  Their testing and development work became a full time endeavor, necessitating that both quit their jobs to devote their time to the project.

Three years later, in 2008, David and Sean launched Dynamic Drain Solutions, Inc. and put together a development team to bring their cutting edge products to market.  Dynamic Drain Solution's first product, the EverClear Tub Drain will is available for sale.

Dynamic Drain Solutions Inc. intends to follow the EverClear Drain for bathtubs with several exciting products designed to enhance convenience and safety for its customers.

Supply Chain

We are committed to the delivery of a quality product while maintaining high ethical and social responsibility standards.  As a part of that ethos, we are open about who we use in our supply chain and why.

  • Tualatin Valley Workshop (Hillsboro, OR): For over four decades, the professionals at TVW have provided opportunities for people with disabilities to earn wages, develop pride, and develop self sufficiency, all while gaining the skills needed for employment in the community.  Their role in the EverClear drain's production is to provide final assembly, quality inspection, and packaging.  Located 14 miles west of Portland Oregon, it is within 8 miles of the order fulfillment/distribution warehouse, again minimizing the logistical carbon footprint.  It too maintains ISO:9001 standards.
  • Fulfillment Corporation of America (Beaverton, OR): FCA is a minority owned warehouse/distribution/order fulfillment facility headquartered in Oregon with 4 locations nationwide.  They have operations going back to 1979, and work with the likes of Nike®, Tektronix®, and Xerox®.  Using their proprietary 3E-Fulfillment® software, they are able to minimize the waste inherent to paper based operations.  They adhere to the Ecommitted environmental guidelines put forth here.  As noted above, they are within 8 miles the TVW's assembly facility.

  • Marco Rubber (Seabrook, NH):  Marco Rubber has been family owned and operated for nearly 30 years. Marco Rubber provides critical sealing components in EverClear Drain's products. They are a full service stocking supplier/manufacturer of O-Rings, seals and specialty components. They recently upgraded to T5 energy efficient lighting and they are considering installing one of the largest solar arrays in New England in partnership with some of their solar industry customers.  Marco's products are compliant with the latest environmental standards such as Mercury Free, RoHS, and REACH.

  • Yeng Fung Plastic Manufacturing Co., Ltd:  Located on the coast of China, they were chosen because of their proximity to sea based shipping (minimzing CO2 release over ground/air transport).  They adhere to the most strict manufacture/engineering standards in their ISO:14000 compliance.
