• Every 1 million EverClear drains installed prevents 54 chemical drain cleaner related injuries per year...a large number of those are children. 
  

• Every 1 million EverClear drains installed saves the U.S. $881,000 in chemical drain cleaner induced injury costs per year.  This equates to $4.4 million saved every 5 years.  There are also upwards of 10 deaths from chemical drain cleaners per year.  Although we aren't sure how one truly values the health or life of a loved one, the EPA values each life at $6.8 million.  Thus, prevention of those poisonings adds to the amount of money the country as a whole saves.

• Providing the EverClear drains to households with newborns alone would save $3.8 million per year.
  

• Eliminating touching of drain clogs decreases contact with dangerous bacteria, including the following:
  • E. Coli
  • MRSA (Methicillin Reisistant Staph Aureus)
  • Streptococcus (necrotizing fasciitis)
  • Pseudomonas ('hot tub' foliculitis)
